Use the H2D by matching the active tool, build plate and filament before slicing, then check the first layer before leaving the printer running.

Before printing

Prepare the machine and material

Use the printer profile, plate, nozzle and filament that match the physical setup.

Select the H2D setup

In Bambu Studio, choose the H2D profile and confirm the nozzle or tool configuration installed on the printer.

Prepare the plate

Fit the correct plate flat against its locating points and select that plate in the slicer.

Match the filament

Confirm the actual filament type, colour and AMS 2 Pro or external spool assignment before slicing.

Check the toolpath

Slice the model and inspect the preview for tool changes, supports, travel moves and the first layer.

Start and monitor

Send the job to the H2D, confirm the displayed material and watch the first layer before leaving the print.

Remove the part

Let the plate cool, remove it using the intended grip points and flex or release the finished part without forcing it.

The H2D can use two toolheads, so a model that uses two materials must be mapped to the correct tool before slicing.

Laser or cutting accessories require their own safety procedures and are not covered by the basic 3D-printing workflow.

Use the material and temperature range stated by the filament manufacturer and the current Bambu Lab profile.
