Before printing

Prepare the machine and material

Use the printer profile, plate, nozzle and filament that match the physical setup.

Choose the printer profile

Select the exact Bambu printer and installed nozzle in Bambu Studio.

Prepare the plate

Fit the clean plate flat and select the matching plate type in the slicer.

Match the filament

Confirm the actual material, colour and AMS or spool assignment before slicing.

Prepare the model

Set scale, orientation, supports, walls and infill for the intended use.

Slice and inspect

Slice the plate, then inspect the preview for the first layer, supports, tool changes and travel.

Start and watch

Send the job to the printer, confirm the material on the screen and watch the first layer.

Cool and remove

Wait for the part to cool, then release it using the correct plate and printer method.

Confirm the printer profile and nozzle size before slicing; the X1E is not interchangeable with every X1C setting.
