Confirm student or educator eligibility, activate Fusion education access, then install and sign in with the verified Autodesk account.

Get Fusion education access

Step 1

Verify education eligibility

Education access is attached to the Autodesk account that completes verification.

Open Fusion for education, choose Request free access, then sign in or create an Autodesk account.
Select the correct role and school. Enter details that match the school's records because additional proof may be requested.
Wait for the eligibility result before creating another account or repeating the application.

Step 2

Download after access is approved

Once Fusion appears in the verified account, the normal Autodesk Account download route is used.

Go to Products and Services > All Products and Services, find Fusion and select Download.
Install Fusion and sign in with the verified account. Education access lasts one year and can be renewed while eligibility continues.

Things to check

The steps from the Fix It Today download guide, in order: Get started under the Student plan; sign in or create the account with your school email (NTU students use the @e.ntu.edu.sg address); add the school; confirm eligibility with school credentials; wait for the confirmation page; Get products, find Fusion, Download; run the installer and open Fusion once on a good connection; sign in inside Fusion.

NTU school details for the form: Singapore, 50 Nanyang Avenue, 639798, University / Post-Secondary, Nanyang Technological University, ntu.edu.sg, plus your enrolment date. Choose educational institution credentials and you land on the NTULearn sign-in with your network account. Other schools may be asked for a photo of a student card.

Check the licence before the workshop: click the workspace menu at the top left of Fusion (it says DESIGN). SIMULATION in the list means education access is active. A list that stops at DRAWING is still on the personal-use licence, and that cannot be fixed in the room.

The student or educator named on the account should complete the verification. Do not upload identity or school documents to unrelated websites.

An educator assigning seats to a class follows a different route from an individual student installing Fusion on a personal computer.

Educational access is not a commercial licence. Check Autodesk's terms before using work for paid or professional projects.
